We are looking for an experienced Solution Expert–Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) to join our team. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for our ALM toolchain, driving the adoption, governance, and continuous improvement of our testing and quality management platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our software delivery processes are efficient, traceable, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for ALM platforms, providing guidance, training, and best-practice recommendations to development, QA, and project teams.
  • Configure, administer, and maintain ALM tools, including user management, project setup, workflows, and integrations with other enterprise systems.
  • Own and operate the ALM toolchain, with a primary focus on leading Lifecycle and Test management platforms
  • Drive adoption of standardized testing processes and ALM governance frameworks across the organization.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and QA engineers to define and implement test strategies, test plans, and quality gates.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning for the ALM toolchain, evaluating new features, upgrades, and emerging technologies.

Ensure compliance with internal IT policies, data governance standards, and audit requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, detail-oriented working style.
  • Good ‘hands-on’ Knowledge of established Application Lifecycle Management and Testing tools such as MicroFocus/Open Text ALM, UI Path, Tricentis qTest, etc.
  • Experience with test management best practices, including requirements traceability, defect lifecycle management, and test coverage analysis.
  • Provides a wide IT knowledge in various areas such as
  • Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., Life Sciences, Pharma) and familiarity with GxP validation or CSV (Computer System Validation) requirements is a strong advantage.
  • Exposure to the SAP ecosystem or other enterprise ERP platforms.
