Solution Architect – Data Centre Services

Lead the architecture behind modern data centre and hosting platforms

At ASSA ABLOY, you will help define how data centre and hosting services are structured and connected — ensuring they are reliable, secure, and built to support long-term business needs.

The role

You will take ownership of the architecture for data centre and hosting services within Group IT. Working closely with infrastructure, hosting, and application teams, you will turn requirements into practical solutions and guide their implementation — ensuring consistency and alignment with enterprise standards.

What you will work on

• Own and evolve the architecture for data centre and hosting services
• Translate business and technical needs into structured solution designs
• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, including security requirements
• Evaluate technologies and help shape infrastructure direction
• Support teams with documentation, guidance, and architectural validation
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal and divisional stakeholders

What will help you succeed

• 5+ years of experience in senior infrastructure or solution architecture roles
• Strong background in IT infrastructure, including hosting, data centres, networking and virtualisation
• Experience working in large-scale, global IT environments
• Ability to work independently with a high level of ownership
• Experience influencing technical decisions across teams
