Description

Job location: Germany - home or office based.

The Solution Architect is responsible for proposing specific Infor solutions that fit within the customer’s business environment and business objectives and can be shown to address the customer’s business problems and exploit opportunities. The Solution Architect is able to understand customer business drivers and current IT environment. The Solution Architect ensures solution feasibility and proposes a roadmap to realize the solution.

The Solution Architect is deployed operationally across multiple solution domains utilizing their broad knowledge of the Infor solution portfolio to identify the components required to construct the most appropriate solution for the customer. The Solution Architect is typically engaged full time as part of the project delivery structure and has experience in one or more industry segments such as Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes

• Undertakes implementation of complex and advanced configurations and technologies.
• Develops new delivery methods, tools, etc. to meet customer requirements.
• Works on important and unique problems where situational analysis or available data requires evaluation of diverse factors.
• Conducts independent evaluations of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to achieve desired results and io present solutions in an Industry context.
• Ensures that the different solution pieces built by different teams are consistent.
• Maintains awareness of IT Industry architecture frameworks and approaches.
• Maintains up to date knowledge of business drivers & typical customer needs within an industry, important standards for business processes, information models and architectural models generally applied in an industry.

Basic Qualifications

• Several years of industry experience in implementing of large scaled ERP Solutions as Lead Consultant or Solution Architect
• Bachelor's and Master's degree or equivalent education/work experience
• Implementation experience across all business process in the areas of Logistics and /or Finance.
• Reliability and deadline-driven approach.
• Strong organizational skills & time management skills.
• Strong oral and written communication that effectively articulates complex ideas.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team but also self-motivated.
• Team player with the ability to build strong peer and interpersonal relationships.
• Excellent problem solving and analytic skills.
• Experience in the conception of customizations and interfaces
• Experience in guiding the creation of comprehensive test scenarios
• Experience with cloud architecture
• Experience in the integration of different systems
• Fluent in German language and English language is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel nationally and throughout DACH Region.
