As Senior Architect, Cloud & Infrastructure, you will shape the future of WSA’s infrastructure, cloud and hosting platforms on a global scale. Reporting to the Director, Infrastructure Core Services, you will drive infrastructure modernization, cloud transformation, automation and enterprise resilience – making sure our critical business services stay secure, available and aligned with business and risk objectives. You will translate business priorities into technology roadmaps, architecture standards and investment strategies that enable long-term growth, operational excellence, and AI readiness.

What you will do

• Lead cloud adoption, workload modernization, automation initiatives and infrastructure lifecycle improvements, driving technical roadmaps and migration strategies
• Define the target-state architecture for cloud, hosting, datacenter and platform services, and review solution designs to ensure alignment with technology standards
• Design and govern Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Cyber Recovery capabilities, ensuring critical services meet availability, recovery and enterprise risk requirements
• Partner with Security and Enterprise Architecture teams to implement secure-by-design platforms and compliance controls, and support audits, risk assessments and governance activities
• Present solutions, technical roadmaps and ROI analyses to stakeholders across Infrastructure, InfoSec and Application owners
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to infrastructure teams
• Engage with external vendors, evaluate new technologies and support strategic investment decisions

What you bring

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, cloud and datacenter services, including at least 5 years in an architecture or technical leadership role
• Proven track record of leading infrastructure modernization and cloud transformation initiatives in large, global organizations
• Strong expertise in hybrid cloud architecture (Azure/AWS/GCP), cloud governance, datacenter modernization, resilience engineering and disaster recovery
• Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, Ansible or similar), automation frameworks and platform engineering principles
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity, Zero Trust architecture, identity and access management, and regulatory frameworks such as NIS2, ISO 27001, GDPR and HIPAA
• Experience implementing observability, monitoring, capacity management, service reliability and operational excellence practices
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Must-have certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification; TOGAF Foundation or Certified is a plus
• Experience with FinOps and AI infrastructure readiness is highly desirable
• Fluent English, both written and spoken

The role involves occasional travel (approx. 1–10 days per year).
