As a Solution Architect in the Channels domain, you are at the heart of ING’s customer experience. You design and steer the digital channels that customers interact with daily, from mobile to web to assisted channels.
You translate customer journeys into scalable, secure, and future-proof solutions. You ensure a seamless omni-channel experience across countries while driving simplification and reuse across our digital platforms.

Own and drive end-to-end solution design for digital channels
Translate customer journeys into clear, scalable architecture solutions
Enable seamless omni-channel experiences across products and markets
Align solutions with API-first, event-driven, and platform strategies
Act as trusted advisor for squads, product leads, and stakeholders
Guide teams on architecture decisions and trade-offs
Safeguard performance, resilience, security, and compliance
Drive simplification, reuse, and standardisation across channels
Contribute to CoE architecture practices, standards, and knowledge sharing

8+ years of experience in IT, including architecture roles
Strong expertise in:
Digital channels (mobile and web)
API-driven and microservices architectures
Integration and orchestration patterns (e.g. BFF, Pega, Salesforce)
Experience with cloud-native and scalable platforms
Understanding of customer journeys and digital banking
Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
Strong communication skills, bridging business and IT
Customer-first thinking

You collaborate across teams, countries, and communities
