Biltema Nordic Services is a service company within Biltema with various departments that together deliver a complete solution for the department stores' assortment and operations. The IT department in Helsingborg provides systems and digital solutions in collaboration with Biltema's other companies within the group for our Nordic markets.

We are looking for a Solution Architect to translate business needs into secure, scalable, and maintainable technology solutions across our international organization.

Working closely with the Enterprise Architecture team, business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams, you will own solution architecture from initial assessment through implementation and operational handover. You will ensure that projects align with our enterprise architecture principles, technology roadmap, security requirements, and operational capabilities.

EXAMPLES OF WORK TASKS

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for assigned projects, from business requirements through design, implementation and operational handover
• Design secure, scalable solutions across Azure and on-premises environments, including identity, data flows and non-functional requirements
• Define integration approaches between ERP platforms (Dynamics 365 and AX), business applications and data platforms
• Apply enterprise architecture standards, prepare proposals for architecture reviews, and flag risks, technical debt and exceptions early
• Embed security and privacy in every design, including threat modeling and production readiness
• Lead workshops with business stakeholders, delivery teams and vendors, and explain trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences
• Assess vendor proposals and challenge unnecessary complexity or long-term dependency

EXPERIENCE

• Significant experience in solution architecture or a comparable role, with ownership of complex solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated ability to take solutions from business requirements through design, implementation, and operational transition.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud architecture.
• Experience designing integrations across enterprise applications, including APIs, messaging, events, and data exchanges.
• Working knowledge of identity and access management, including Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, authentication, and authorization.
• Ability to define non-functional requirements and make informed decisions about resilience, performance, security, and cost.
• Experience working with project managers, business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, developers, security teams, and external suppliers.
• Strong architectural documentation, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience working within architecture governance and Agile delivery practices.
• Professional fluency in English and the ability to collaborate across countries and time zones.
