Job Description

Job Identification:

CCI is looking for a Solution Architect, who will be responsible for designing and developing solutions for both for Enterprise- wide Reporting and Self- Service Analytics.

You will work with CCI’s stakeholders; digital product teams such as commercial analytics, supply chain analytics, finance analytics etc. and business functions to define user requirements for digital products, dashboards and reports.

What We Expect:

  • Define BI framework model, semantic layers and metadata repositories to support reporting and administration
  • Build a security architecture and partner with the data security team to ensure compliance of policies, Creating data security/authentication standards
  • Ensure that D&A roadmap delivery is adhering to architecture and development standards
  • Contribute with hands-on data analysis, data profiling, development, and delivery
  • Partner with the Data Engineering and Architecture team to integrate the GCP Big Query infrastructure and data
  • Partner with the IT infrastructure team to achieve high performance and scale on SaaS
  • Provide Technical Lead support within the architectural committee
  • Administer implementations of Microsoft Power BI
  • Manage agile development processes for multiple projects, through all stages of the SDLC
  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure compliance with standards
  • Assist Data Visualization Leader and developers
  • Design and develop complex technology solutions
  • Develop and manage BI end user presentation layer training and support documentation
  • Diagnosing capacity issues of Analytics & BI tools
  • Experimenting with new data reporting tools/technologies
  • Support documentation of source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, and database design
  • Identify areas of improvement to optimize data flows
  • Estimate effort and cost for a Microsoft Business Intelligence solution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics /Mathematics Engineering or related quantitative field
  • Minimum 8 years of Data Analytics experience in implementing large scale Enterprise DWH/BI projects
  • English (business communication proficiency)
  • Strong knowledge of in relational and dimensional modeling is a must
  • Advanced working knowledge of relational database design, logical data modeling, data warehousing, and relational database management systems
  • Deep experience in Kimball and Inmon modeling techniques
  • Significant experience with design, development, and maintenance of enterprise level data systems, preferably Google Cloud Platform Big Query
  • Extremely strong SQL skills
  • Microsoft Power BI Service enterprise deployment experience and administration is a must
  • Microsoft Power BI topology & architecture knowledge is highly preferred
  • Self- Service Analytics framework and implementation experience is highly preferred
  • Experience leading or working with agile development methodology
  • Foundational knowledge of the following areas:
