We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect – Banking & Financial Services to design and deliver secure, scalable, and compliant integration solutions across complex banking technology ecosystems. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in enterprise solution architecture, banking application integrations, and cloud-native technologies who can bridge business, technology, and regulatory requirements.

As a Solution Architect, you will work closely with client technology teams, enterprise architects, application owners, and business stakeholders to design integration strategies that support secure data management, consent lifecycle management, and enterprise-wide application interoperability. You will be responsible for defining architecture standards, leading technical solution design, resolving complex integration challenges, and ensuring successful implementation across highly regulated banking environments. The role requires strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex business and compliance requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end integration architectures for enterprise applications within banking and financial services environments.
• Define scalable integration approaches using APIs, SDKs, webhooks, middleware, event-driven architecture, and database connectors.
• Architect integrations with core banking platforms, enterprise middleware, legacy systems, and cloud-native applications.
• Design secure frontend and backend integration solutions using modern frameworks including React, Next.js, Django, and Python.
• Develop enterprise consent management and data governance architectures across multiple digital channels and applications.
• Integrate enterprise applications with API gateways, authentication mechanisms, and security frameworks including OAuth2, SAML, API Keys, and mutual TLS.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, application owners, security teams, and IT leadership to define technical roadmaps and implementation strategies.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues involving networking, authentication, APIs, middleware, data synchronization, and distributed systems.
• Produce architecture documentation, technical specifications, integration playbooks, solution diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.
• Support enterprise deployment planning, production releases, change management, and governance processes for business-critical applications.
• Evaluate new platform capabilities, identify architectural improvements, and provide recommendations for technology optimization and future scalability.
• Mentor engineering teams and promote architecture best practices, security standards, and high-quality solution delivery.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 14+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Integration, or Software Engineering, including significant exposure to banking or financial services technology.
• Proven expertise designing integrations with core banking platforms, enterprise middleware, and distributed application architectures.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, web services, event-driven architectures, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Deep understanding of enterprise authentication and security technologies including OAuth2, SAML, API security, and mutual TLS
• Hands-on experience with React, Next.js, Django, Python, and modern application integration practices.
• Strong knowledge of databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, and enterprise data integration techniques.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerized applications, and cloud platforms such as AWS (EKS, API Gateway, RDS, S3)
• Solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles, cloud-native deployments, scalability, and high-availability system design.
• Familiarity with banking regulations, enterprise governance processes, security reviews, and compliance-driven technology implementations.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams, business leaders, and executive stakeholders.
• Professional certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, or privacy and security certifications will be an added advantage.
