In this role, you'll:


Work as part of a team delivering enterprise and solution architecture leadership, governance and planning across Operations Technology(OT) within TfNSW, ensuring systems are efficient, rationalised, fit-for-purpose and aligned to enterprise architecture and strategy.

This role will see you shape the vision and direction of Operations Technology systems and products, engage closely with product owners, architects and stakeholders, and provide detailed analysis of current and future-state architectures. You will define, design and maintain frameworks, standards and artefacts that enable consistent data and technology management, while driving system integration, rationalisation and improved efficiency in a complex and evolving environment.

About you

You bring deep expertise in addressing complex business challenges through the design and implementation of comprehensive end to end solutions. As a seasoned Solution Architect, you demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

  • Design and implement cloud-based architectural solutions, including enterprise services and data integrations.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, which will be highly valuable in driving success in this role.
  • Strong expertise in options evaluation and solution assessment.
  • Develop solutions that comply with TfNSW Cyber Security standards.
  • Proven experience in implementing solutions that meet non-functional requirements, with strict adherence to cybersecurity standards.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to engage with business stakeholders, translate requirements, and deliver end-to-end solutions aligned with technology policies and standards
  • Experience in designing and defining current and target-state application architectures that align with business objectives and drive strategic outcomes
  • Exposure to Operations Technology (OT) environments is desirable.
