As a Solutions Architect on our Merger, Acquisition, Divestiture, Integration, Closure, Sites (MADICS) team, you will shape how Koch businesses deliver frictionless, timely, and value-driven services across the enterprise to help Koch companies achieve their business outcomes. In this role, you will combine broad architectural experience with business understanding, with strong knowledge of networking, compute, identity, M365, endpoint and datacenter technologies.

You will serve as a trusted consulting partner to business and technical teams, helping them translate complex problems into innovative, actionable solutions. You’ll work closely with Enterprise Architects, domain experts and product owners to design technical solutions that create value for the Koch businesses.

Our Team

The Koch Technologies MADICS team is responsible for empowering Koch businesses to deliver acquisition/divestiture transactions, business integrations into shared-services information technology, build and move sites and close sites. Our team continually strives to transform service delivery by means of people, process, and technology.

What You Will Do

• Architect innovative solutions that deliver business outcomes in collaboration with many different technical domains and functional teams.
• Partner with project managers and business IT stakeholders to understand and develop plans to address the business problem(s) to be solved.
• Work on tight timelines with a sense of urgency to meet defined delivery dates.
• Lean into curiosity and new ideas. Use experimental discovery to prove or disprove those ideas.
• Engage, challenge, and create reference architectures, frameworks, and patterns for Koch Technologies. Publish artifacts in a central MADICS architecture repository.
• Act as a mentor, providing ongoing coaching and mentoring to peers, enabling their continued growth.
• Continually strengthen your knowledge network across Koch Technologies and the operating companies. Collaborate and partner to leverage your comparative advantage across the organization.
• Help define and implement our MADCIS strategy.
• Drive innovative business solutions and digital transformation.
• Technical point of contact for any blockers faced by PMs, technical SMEs.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Several years of experience in architecture or senior engineering roles, experience in multiple technical domains (network, server, storage, endpoint, identity, etc.)
• Experience in leading teams through delivering complex solutions across several technical domains
• Partnering with project managers to build project scope, build time/cost estimates and meet objectives and timelines
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment with a diverse workforce
• Experience in working collaboratively on global projects
