
The role
The Solution Architect plays a critical role in designing fit-for-purpose application and technology architectures that translate business needs into practical, secure and sustainable solutions. The role partners with stakeholders across the Office of Sport to guide solution design, support delivery and ensure alignment with organisational strategy, cyber security requirements and NSW Government standards.
Working across multiple programs and initiatives, the position provides expert advice, develops architecture artefacts and contributes to establishing architectural principles, patterns and governance processes that enable effective and future-focused technology outcomes.
Responsibilities
About You
You are an experienced Solution Architect with strong technical and stakeholder engagement capabilities, and a proven ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technology solutions. You bring deep knowledge across applications, integration, data and cloud environments, and are confident working across multiple delivery streams in complex environments.
You are a clear communicator who can engage both technical and non-technical audiences, provide sound advice and influence outcomes. You thrive in a collaborative environment, bring a strategic mindset and are committed to delivering secure, scalable and customer-focused solutions aligned with organisational goals.
Essential Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive professional experience in solution architecture, preferably within complex programs or projects.
