Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect to lead enterprise modernization and cloud transformation initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for designing scalable modernization strategies, transforming legacy systems into cloud-native architectures, and enabling modern engineering practices across enterprise environments.

You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to drive digital transformation programs focused on cloud migration, DevOps adoption, automation, API integration, and operational modernization.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Modernization

• 
  Design and implement modernization strategies for legacy applications and infrastructure
• 
  Lead migration initiatives from monolithic systems to microservices-based architectures
• 
  Develop scalable, secure, and future-ready solution architectures
• 
  Support business process transformation aligned with modernization goals

Cloud Transformation

• 
  Lead cloud migration and hybrid-cloud transformation projects
• 
  Architect modern cloud-native environments and integration frameworks
• 
  Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using:
  • 
    Terraform
  • 
    Bicep
  • 
    Heat
  • 
    CloudFormation

DevOps & Automation

• 
  Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
• 
  Enable deployment automation and operational efficiency improvements
• 
  Support advanced automation initiatives, including AIOps capabilities
• 
  Collaborate with engineering teams to establish automated delivery frameworks

Platform & Integration Architecture

• 
  Design API integration strategies to connect legacy and modern systems
• 
  Support containerized and orchestration-based environments using:
  • 
    Kubernetes
  • 
    OpenShift
  • 
    Rancher
• 
  Provide architectural guidance for modern platform engineering initiatives

Security & Observability

• 
  Address security challenges related to legacy-to-cloud migration
• 
  Define observability and monitoring strategies for modernized systems
• 
  Improve platform reliability, performance monitoring, and operational visibility
• 
  Ensure compliance with security and governance standards

Required Skills & Experience

• 
  10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture and enterprise transformation
• 
  Strong expertise in legacy modernization and cloud migration initiatives
• 
  Proven experience re-architecting monolithic applications into microservices
• 
  Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools
• 
  Strong Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) experience
• 
  Expertise in API integration and enterprise connectivity solutions
• 
  Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration technologies
• 
  Strong understanding of cloud security and governance best practices
• 
  Dutch language proficiency required

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  Experience with AIOps and intelligent automation technologies
• 
  Familiarity with low-code/no-code modernization platforms
• 
  Knowledge of observability and monitoring solutions
• 
  Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills
