The primary focus of this position is to grow revenue of the Belden’s Alpha wire and OEM business in Malaysia. This will require a highly motivated sales professional with a strong business development and sales background in industrial cabling and connectivity solutions. The successful candidate must be capable of working both independently and within a team to achieve outstanding results.

This position will report to Solution Sales Manager based in Hong Kong.

You will make an impact in the following way:

  • The primary responsibility is to fulfill specific sales duties for Alphawire & Belden OEM.
  • Developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key customers and channel partners.
  • Understanding the customer's business, goals, and challenges to provide strategic value.
  • Identifying new business opportunities within the assigned accounts.
  • Developing and executing sales plans to meet or exceed our revenue targets.
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams (e.g., sales, engineering, presales & marketing) to deliver OEM solutions.
  • Proactively communicating with customers to understand their needs and provide support.
  • Resolving any customer issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Forecasting sales and revenue for the assigned channel accounts.
  • Staying informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

What you will bring:

  • Education – Degree level or above in a relevant field – Engineering/Business and possess a track record of 5+ years of sales experience in the OEM or related industry.
  • Markets – Must possess foundational knowledge and experience in cable and wire products. Should have existing connections and networks within the OEM sector, particularly in Malaysia. Experience in the industrial or semi related verticals will be an advantage.
  • Customers Define our Success – Results-oriented with a process mindset. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong ownership & should be comfortable with communication/engagement with customers and partners. Willing to dedicate extra time and travel to meet objectives and perform effectively under high pressure.
