Job Description

Job Bridge Global is seeking a skilled SolidWorks Design Engineer. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in SolidWorks software to create innovative designs for various mechanical components and systems. You will collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders to ensure that all designs meet project specifications and industry standards.

Details:

• SolidWorks CSWP with 3+ years’ practical experience
• Contribute to technical review/ client liaison
• Use ERP software to produce take-offs for estimating function
• Submit architectural general arrangement drawings for approval
• Produce shop drawings to a very high standard for fabrication
• Experience in sheet metal manufacturing incl. CNC nesting and programming
• Produce bills of materials for purchasing function
• Attend design planning meetings
• Attend client sites if necessary
• Report directly to Head of Design
• Must have functional English
• Driving Licence
• Experience in Weldment Design, FEA, Simulation and Rendering all advantageous

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Design Engineer with proficiency in SolidWorks software.
3. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
4. Experience in creating 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
8. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (preferred).
9. Relevant certifications in SolidWorks or other design software (preferred).

Annual Salary:

• €50,000 to €55,000 + free accommodation.
