About the role

As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking a talented solicitor at either the Lawyer, Associate or Senior Associate level to join our highly regarded Family Law team.

Working closely with an experienced Partner, you will play a key role in delivering tailored legal solutions to our valued clients across a broad range of family law matters, while continuing to develop your expertise in a supportive and rewarding environment.

As part of our team you will:

• Undertake a variety of family law work including:
• property disputes, with a particular slant towards complicated and high net wealth matters;
• parenting dispute;
• drafting financial agreements; and
• child support matters and the preparation of binding child support agreements.
• Participate in litigious matters and mediations.
• Meet with clients and manage client relationships on an ongoing basis.
• Manage your own files in a pro-active and effective manner.
• Any other duties as reasonably directed by senior lawyers in the Family team.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be an admitted solicitor with experience in family law.
• Demonstrated experience in a highly focused private client service environment.
• Strong research and analysis skills and ability to apply critical thinking.
• Current QLD practicing certificate.
• Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
• Dedication to providing excellence in client service with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach.
• Capacity to be self-managed and be self-motivated.
