THE ROLE & TEAM

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a qualified solicitor (2 PQE) to join the Manchester office in our growing Investment & Property Management team within our Real Estate Group.

The team areis made up of experienced property lawyers who provide an efficient and cost-effective service. They handle a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions and disposals, asset management and corporate support work, as well as providing strategic advice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft, review and negotiate a range of commercial property documents, including leases, licences and related agreements

  • Support on investment and property management transactions and corporate support matters, ensuring matters each are progressed efficiently and to a high standard

  • Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients on a variety of property management issues

  • Assist with portfolio management work for a range of clients, helping to maintain strong and long-term relationships

  • Work collaboratively with partners and senior lawyers on complex matters, gaining exposure to high-quality work

  • Manage your own caseload (with appropriate supervision), ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met

  • Contribute to delivering a cost-effective and commercially focused service in line with team objectives

ABOUT YOU

  • Qualified Solicitor with around 2 years’ PQE, ideally with experience in commercial property or real estate

  • Experience gained through a training contract or equivalent, with exposure to property transactions or asset management work

  • Strong drafting and organisational skills, with good attention to detail

  • Commercially aware, with the ability to provide practical and client-focused advice

  • Able to manage your own workload varied caseload effectively, while also working collaboratively within a team

  • Confident communicator, building positive relationships with clients and colleagues
