About the Role

At Origin, we're accelerating Australia's energy transition by connecting customers with smarter energy solutions. As our Channel Manager – solar quotes, you'll be responsible for growing our VPP business through high-performing third-party sales channels and strategic partnerships. You'll build trusted relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders while optimising sales performance, campaign delivery, and channel capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the performance of third-party solar sales partners against sales, revenue, cost and quality targets.
  • Develop and execute channel plans to improve sales performance and customer acquisition.
  • Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with external channel partners.
  • Deliver successful sales campaigns in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor channel performance, commissions, incentives and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise channel effectiveness and cost per acquisition.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and Origin policies.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance and Sales Assurance teams to manage complaints, quality and risk.
  • Coordinate training to ensure partners are equipped to deliver quality customer outcomes.
  • Support business development initiatives and identify new channel opportunities.

About You

  • Proven experience in channel management, partner management or sales within the energy or utilities sector.
  • Experience managing third-party sales partners or customer acquisition channels.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with channel planning, performance management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical, project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within a sales environment is highly regarded.
  • Direct sales or call centre operational experience will be viewed favourably.
