Solar PV Project Manager

Location:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Solar PV Project Manager to oversee solar projects from inception to completion. This role involves managing all phases of project execution for commercial and industrial solar systems, including development, procurement, construction, and commissioning, followed by handover to the operations team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee project budgets and provide weekly updates

  • Manage project timelines, scope, contracts, logistics, and installations

  • Ensure quality control, compliance with health and safety standards, and effective commissioning

  • Maintain strong client relationships and manage communication with all project stakeholders

  • Supervise technicians and subcontractors

  • Evaluate and approve engineering designs

  • Oversee the design of solar PV systems

  • Continuously improve processes based on project feedback


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • At least 5 years of senior management experience in renewable energy

  • Experience managing commercial and industrial projects

  • Proficiency in HOMER, PV Syst, Helioscope, and AutoCAD

  • Registration with a national engineering board
