
Solar Operations Technician – Millers Branch Solar Facility – Haskell, TX
We are currently seeking Solar Operations Technicians for our Millers Branch Solar Facility in Haskell, TX. This facility is currently under construction in 3 phases which will be completed in 2025 and 2026 for a grand total of 512 MW on approximately 4,700 acres. Equipment includes SMA 4200 UP-US inverters, Canadian Solar Bi-facial modules, and Nextracker NX Horizon racking and trackers system.

We are seeking strong technical individuals for Solar Operations Technician positions for the Southern Power Millers Branch Solar Facility in Haskell, TX. The responsibilities include operating and maintaining utility scale solar photovoltaic electric systems as well as monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing the plant's electrical and mechanical equipment and various other duties. In addition, the successful candidates will maintain plant maintenance records in the computer-based work order system, Maximo®, and participate in the plant system owner program. The candidate will need to have the willingness to serve on any Operations Review Board (ORB) action teams when required. Shift work required, including nights. This position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
