Great with people and skilled at turning challenges into solutions? Join our team as a Solar Installation Retention Specialist and play a key role in keeping customers engaged, informed, and confident throughout their solar journey.

This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role where you’ll work with homeowners to resolve concerns, remove roadblocks, and ensure projects stay on track through installation. If you’re a strong communicator who thrives on problem-solving and delivering a great customer experience, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the installation process.
  • Proactively address customer concerns to prevent cancellations and improve retention.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, scheduling, and installation teams to resolve issues.
  • Track customer cases and provide timely updates throughout the installation lifecycle.
  • Identify risks to project completion and take action to keep projects moving forward.
  • Document all customer interactions and resolutions in internal systems.
  • Provide clear, professional communication via phone, email, and text.
  • Support process improvements to enhance customer experience and retention.

Equipment You’ll Use

  • CRM systems (Salesforce or similar)
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Phone and communication tools
  • Internal tracking and reporting systems

A Typical Day

  • Review customer accounts and identify at-risk projects
  • Reach out to homeowners to address questions or concerns
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve project issues
  • Provide updates and ensure customers understand next steps
  • Document interactions and keep cases moving forward

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in customer service, retention, account management, or operations support
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to de-escalate situations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce a plus)
