This is a hands-on, field-based role where you’ll prepare sites for inspection, work closely with inspectors, and ensure installations meet all required codes and standards. If you’re detail-oriented, reliable, and take pride in quality work, this is a great opportunity to grow in the solar industry.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform pre-inspection audits to ensure systems are ready for inspection.
  • Meet inspectors on-site and support the inspection process.
  • Open electrical panels and junction boxes for inspection access.
  • Install placards, collect inspection stickers, and complete required documentation.
  • Take and upload photos and job documentation as needed.
  • Set up ladders and safety equipment for inspector access.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local inspection offices.
  • Work independently to complete daily inspection schedules.
  • Support additional field tasks as needed.

  • Company vehicle for travel between job sites

A Typical Day

  • Start your day reviewing inspection schedules with your team
  • Travel to job sites and perform pre-inspection checks
  • Meet inspectors and support them during inspections
  • Complete documentation, photos, and required updates
  • Move to the next site and keep projects on track

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in construction, inspections, electrical, or field work preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
  • Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Adobe; Salesforce a plus)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • Ability to lift 40+ lbs regularly
