Job Description

Electrical Engineer
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Prepare AC and DC electrical engineered design for commercial solar photovoltaic projects
  • Prepare electrical CAD drawings
  • Provide analysis of electrical energy efficiency measures to include annual energy savings, expected first cost, and economic metrics such as ROI
Required Professional Attributes:
  • Degreed electrical engineer 
  • Minimum three years of experience specializing in analysis and design of commercial electrical/solar systems
  • Technical understanding of common photovoltaic electrical engineering codes and standards

Desired Professional Attributes:
  • Licensed professional electrical engineer
  • Understanding of photovoltaic systems and the ability to identify design efficiency opportunities, and perform energy savings calculations using industry standards
  • Experience with performance contracting projects
  • Experience with Measurement & Verification
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite and CAD design software
