TheSoftware Verification Specialist is responsibleto planandconductall levels of verification against our software product within an agile team of designers and developers. The candidate is a confidant and self-motivated individual who is unafraid to use their extensive scientific background to be a savvy and vocal advocate for our customers, ensuring that the finished product is an effective one by using their ingrained consideration of quality throughout the product development lifecycle.
This position is part of theSoftware Departmentand willbe located inConcord, Ontario, Canada.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Verify that our software products fullymeetsrequirements
Perform exploratorytesting
Clearly document and communicate issues found during testing tofacilitatecorrective action by developers and/or designers.
Create,maintainand execute manual and automation testcases
Review and help flesh out understanding of softwarerequirements
Track verification progress, project issues,risksand requirements
Plan software verificationin accordance withproject scope and software requirements
The essential requirements of the job include:
College Dip. / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry or Biochemistry
Minimum 2 years of direct experience in LC-MS/MS
Excellent problem solving & analytical thinking skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are an absolute necessity.
Ability to design relevant test cases based on realistic customer workflows.
It would be a plus if you alsopossesspreviousexperience in:
Experience in elicitation and documentation of software requirements, use cases andspecifications
Experience with TOF MS/TOF MSMS
