Opportunity Overview

As our Senior UX/UI Designer, you will take ownership of our design system and collaborate closely with engineering, product, and cross‑functional teams. You’ll transform complex requirements into clear interfaces, lead user research, and ensure user‑centered decision‑making is deeply embedded in how we build products. You will mainly be working with our Graphical User Interface - PolyScope, which thousands of people around the world use to program our market leading collaborative robots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve the existing Design System
    Ensure consistency, scalability, and cross-team adoption while continuously improving components, patterns, and documentation.
  • Create high- and low-fidelity prototypes
    Translate complex requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production‑ready designs.
  • Apply strong systems thinking
    Design with an understanding of the broader product ecosystem, ensuring solutions scale and align with long-term strategy.
  • Be technically grounded
    Collaborate effectively with engineering teams, understand technical constraints, and design feasible, implementation‑aware solutions.
  • Lead and facilitate user research
    Plan and conduct usability testing, analyze insights, and convert findings into actionable design improvements.
  • Contribute to feature prioritization
    Provide design-driven input to roadmaps based on user value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Advocate for user-centered decision‑making
    Champion the voice of the user in cross-functional discussions and support evidence‑based product decisions.

Tools & Skills:

  • Figma – advanced proficiency
  • Usability testing tools and methods
  • Collaboration platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Miro)
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to work closely with engineering and product teams
  • Experience with design systems (creation or evolution)
