Software Tester with experience (Enterprise Imaging) (m/f/d)

Contribute to an outstanding medical product platform for image-based diagnosis running as desktop and web application to support our customers on optimal patient treatment.
Join one of our well-established SCRUM teams and be part of a development team of around 40
people.

We are responsible for delivering high‑quality medical imaging software. As part of this team, you will contribute to clinical products with real impact for healthcare professionals and patients.

Your tasks are

  • Develop, enhance and maintain automated test frameworks (UI, API, integration).
  • Contribute automated tests across multiple layers, from unit to end‑to‑end scenarios.
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and integrate testing early.
  • Participate in code reviews, including reviewing test-related production code.
  • Identify, document and track defects effectively.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Follow Agile/SAFe ceremonies and actively engage in cross-team collaboration.
  • Apply AI‑assisted testing techniques, such as:
    • Test generation and optimization support
    • Intelligent test selection and prioritization
    • Exploratory testing support through AI tools
  • Evaluate and adopt AI tools responsibly, ensuring correctness, explainability, and compliance.
  • Contribute to refining and optmizing test strategy, including AI usage guidelines.

You’ll bring in:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years experience with testing.
  • Strong programming skills in Java and Typescript (Angular).
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Cypress).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles and layered testing approaches.
  • Experience testing software on Windows and/or Linux environments.
  • Curiosity for new technologies, frameworks, and up-to-date methodologies in software development and testing
  • Decent English skills

Preferrably you also bring in:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of API testing frameworks and performance testing tools.
  • Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, or distributed systems.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills.
  • Experience in medical software testing or regulated environments beneficial.

The minimum salary for this position is 50.000 € p.a. The actual compensation is dependent on qualification and experience.
