Position Software Tester

Location Bremen, Germany

Type Full-time

Tasks:

• Software testing and documentation; including the selection of suitable testing methods
• Drawing up test specifications and instructions, or designing and implementing automated software tests
• Analysing and reporting on test results
• Monitoring test progress
• Providing support in preparing quotations regarding necessary software tests
• Collaboration with software developers on the implementation of measures to ensure and enhance quality
• Preparation of process documentation (e.g. test concepts)
• Ensuring the required test coverage
• Initial analysis of customer error reports

Requirements:

• Several years' professional experience in software testing
• Very good written and spoken English, particularly technical English
• Completed vocational training in computer science (e.g. FIAN) or a technical degree
• Good knowledge of scripting languages, e.g. Python
• Very good written and spoken German,
• Willingness to travel
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
