Job Description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
    • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
    • Perform manual and automated testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, performance, smoke, and API testing.
    • Support and maintain laboratory facilities and test infrastructure utilized by global engineering teams. 
    • Investigate, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
    • Review and validate technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
    • Provide technical support and participate in project activities as required.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to enhance software quality and testing effectiveness.

For This Role, You Will Need:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related technical field. 
    • Experience in manual and automation testing of software applications.
    • Strong understanding of test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect management. 
    • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Katalon, or similar frameworks.
    • Experience with REST API testing using Postman or comparable tools. 
    • Programming knowledge in C#, C++, Java, or equivalent languages for test automation. 
    • Familiarity with bug tracking and defect management tools, preferably Jira. 
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a global team environment.

 
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
    • Experience with industrial process instrumentation or automation products.
    • Knowledge of Kali Linux and related testing environments.
    • Experience supporting software testing laboratories and hardware setups.
    • Exposure to agile software development and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices.
    • Demonstrated initiative in driving quality improvements and process enhancements.
