We are seeking a
Senior Software Test & Validation Engineer
who will serve as the
Product Owner for Test
, owning the vision, strategy, and execution of the overall testing and validation campaign. This role requires a
strategic thought leader
who defines
how
testing enables product quality and regulatory compliance—not a hands-on tactical tester. The ideal candidate has deep experience testing
software integrated with hardware
in regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Define Test Strategy & Vision
  Own and drive the end-to-end
  test and validation strategy
  , translating customer and regulatory needs into scalable, risk-based test approaches.
  
• 
  Product Ownership & Backlog Management
  Build, prioritize, and maintain the
  test backlog
  , author user stories and acceptance criteria, and coordinate cross-team dependencies in support of
  PI and iteration planning
  .
  
• 
  Acceptance & Delivery Accountability
  Formally accept features and user stories using defined
  acceptance criteria and Definition of Done
  , ensuring high-quality, compliant deliverables.
  
• 
  Leadership & Collaboration
  Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, systems, quality, and regulatory teams while advocating for
  built-in quality and customer-centric design
  .

  Participate in and influence
  Inspect & Adapt
  events, driving continuous improvement in test effectiveness, coverage, and efficiency.

  Stakeholder Communication
  Represent test and validation outcomes internally and externally, clearly communicating complex technical information to diverse stakeholder audiences.
  

Required Qualifications

• 
  8+ years of experience in
  software testing for hardware-integrated systems

• 
  Proven experience in
  FDA or FAA regulated environments
  (medical devices strongly preferred)

• 
  Strong background in
  verification & validation, system-level testing, and risk-based testing

• 
  Experience operating in
  Agile / SAFe environments
  with PI planning and backlog ownership

• 
  Excellent communication and technical leadership skills
