As a Software Test Automation Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers to design, build, and test Java-based applications. You’ll gain hands-on experience with modern technologies like SaaS platforms, data aggregation, and big data analytics, while contributing to real projects that make an impact.

Program Details
Duration: 10–12 weeks (Summer Internship)
Pay: $21.00 – $27.00/hour (based on location, major, and year in school)
Location: Morrisville, NC - Hybrid
What You’ll Do
Support the design, development, and testing of software applications
Contribute to automated testing frameworks and quality assurance efforts
Build tools and analytics solutions to support engineering teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile (Scrum) environment
Take ownership of your work and contribute ideas to improve products
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Familiarity with Java and object-oriented programming
Exposure to data structures and algorithms
Basic experience with scripting (Python, Tcl, or similar)
Experience working with source control and unit testing tools
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Interest in building reliable, high-quality software
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with test automation or QA processes
Exposure to distributed systems or cloud-based platforms
Familiarity with tools like IntelliJ, Jira, Confluence, or Agile/Scrum
Experience working with SQL databases
Basic knowledge of Linux or networking concepts
