Bruker Nano Surfaces & Metrology “BNSM” division is the leader in X-ray metrology / inspection and other tools for the silicon and compound semiconductor industries. As the leading supplier of advanced X-ray solutions to the top semiconductor companies, we have a global presence with offices in Israel (Migdal Ha’Emek), UK (Durham), and USA (San Jose), as well as sales and support offices worldwide.

We have an immediate opening in Israel for a Senior Software Engineer in our Software department.

Responsibilities

OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Software Technical Lead, you will

• Drive the technical direction of the software team, including design decisions, technological advancements, and group best practices
• Coordinate resource planning within the team, including subcontractors, set priorities, and oversee day-to-day development activities
• Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams (such as system, hardware, and product management)
• Mentor junior developers and newly hired
• Contribute through hands-on development to deliver high-quality software solutions

International Travel might be required.

• Maintain existing and create new applications for our customers worldwide, ensuring reliability, performance, and alignment with customer needs
• Be fully aligned with other disciplines, such as project management, applications team, field support and production integrators
• Deliver on time and with high quality
• Demonstrate strong professionalism and a high level of technical knowledge
• Work with subcontractors where necessary, providing direction, support and documentation
• Communicate clearly and concisely – verbal and in writing (in English)

Qualifications

• A. or B.Sc degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience writing in C# / .Net
• At least 2 years of experience as a technical lead
• Experience in mixed C++ and managed code
• Experience with industry standard tools such as: MS Visual Studio 2019/2022, Git, TFS
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, good presentation skills
