6–8 years of experience in automotive system engineering, with hands-on experience in software development for commercial vehicle pneumatic braking systems and Brake ECU functions.Experience in configuring sensors, actuators, wheel speed sensing, and vehicle dynamics.Design, develop, and validate braking control algorithms for commercial vehicle brake ECUs using MATLAB/Simulink, from concept development to production release.Develop and maintain system functions for ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), EBS (Electronic Braking System), ESC (Electronic Stability Control), TCS (Traction Control System), HSA (Hill Start Assist), RSC (Roll Stability Control), and brake blending functions.Perform requirements engineering, feature allocation, and traceability across system and software domains.Analyze vehicle dynamics, braking performance, diagnostic concepts, fault reactions, and fail-safe/fail-operational strategies.Support system validation, HIL/SIL/MIL testing, vehicle testing, and issue resolution throughout the development lifecycle.Explore and apply AI/ML-based solutions for predictive braking, anomaly detection, driver behavior analysis, and advanced diagnostic functions.Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers on technical discussions, reviews, and project deliveries.Prepare and review technical documentation, safety work products, and engineering reports in compliance with automotive standards.Work experience in commercial vehicle ESC / EBS control units is highly preferrable Tools MATLAB/Simulink, ASCET, INCA, IBM DOORS/DNG, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, HIL/SIL environments, and automotive communication protocols (CAN, J1939, UDS).
