WSP is seeking an experienced professional to support project/program management and data tracking team utilizing an internal Illinois Tollway system (Catapult) in our Lisle project office. In this role, you will lead the enterprise project/program management and data system used by the Illinois Tollway to track contracts, projects, and related information.

Your Impact

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the backend data architecture and integrity
  • Oversee data integration with enterprise systems
  • Maintain and enforce data governance, standards, and best practices
  • Support system modernization and transition efforts

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in database management, backend systems, or enterprise application support
  • Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems (e.g., ERP platforms like SAP or project management systems) and managing data interfaces
  • Demonstrated experience in data governance and quality management, including developing standards and ensuring data consistency across systems
  • Experience leading or supporting system implementations or migrations, including data conversion and validation
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to interface across IT and business teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Illinois Tollway’s Catapult system
  • Experience with SaaS-based project/program management platforms (Kahua, Trimble Unity Construct, or similar enterprise systems)
  • Experience supporting capital programs, infrastructure agencies, or transportation organizations (e.g., DOTs, toll agencies, large public-sector programs)
  • Strong background in data migration and system replacement initiatives, including legacy system decommissioning and platform transition support
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and supporting downstream analytics needs
  • Experience working with cloud-based data environments (Azure, AWS, or similar), including data storage, pipelines, and integrations
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and enterprise data standards within large organizations
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams or mentoring technical staff, particularly in environments bridging IT and business operations
