This position is available full-time or part-time and is permanent.
Nortal headquarters are in Berlin, with additional offices in Hamburg, Potsdam, Dresden, and Cologne. Remote and mobile work are an integral part of our company culture.
Advise clients and facilitate technical workshops with customers and their service providers.
Take on technical project leadership, including solution design, specifications, and effort estimation in agile software development projects.
Design and document the overall architecture of large software systems consisting of multiple applications and their interactions.
Define system-wide architecture, design, and implementation guidelines and best practices.
Coach, mentor, and support software developers and other team members.
Select and evaluate tools and systems that meet business requirements.
Support sales activities and proposal development, including technical solution design and effort estimation.
Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends.
A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Several years of experience in technical consulting.
Proven experience planning, facilitating, and structuring technical workshops.
Extensive experience in technical leadership and/or solution architecture design.
A strong software engineering background and the ability to work across a wide range of technologies, architectures, and ecosystems.
Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD processes.
Curiosity and interest in understanding complex IT landscapes and performing “architecture archaeology” to identify the best solutions for clients, teams, and systems.
Interest in supporting sales processes, with experience working closely with clients and translating their needs into effective solutions.
Excellent German and good English communication skills, both written and spoken (C1)

Ability to combine strategic vision with practical implementation requirements.
