We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer (V&V) to support verification and validation activities for enterprise-level clinical software products. This is a hybrid role requiring regular onsite collaboration with the Software Quality Engineering team in Bangalore.

What You’ll Be Doing
Participate in software testing activities including test review, test execution, and test witnessing within an Agile development lifecycle
Review Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), Engineering Functional Specifications, and test plans to support accurate test scoping and planning
Execute test cases, document results, and ensure timely and accurate reporting of defects and issues
Collaborate with software engineers to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve defects identified during testing
Work with QA team members, developers, and system/database administrators to diagnose failures across multiple environments
Analyze requirements to identify gaps, edge cases, and risk areas, contributing to improved product quality
Support test planning activities by identifying dependencies, risks, and required test coverage
Follow established QA processes, standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and consistency
Troubleshoot application issues and support root cause analysis efforts
Contribute to documentation, quality records, and audit readiness activities
Read, understand, and make small modifications to scripts (e.g., Python, JavaScript) to support testing activities
Leverage basic scripting or automation techniques to improve efficiency in repetitive testing or validation tasks
Manage competing priorities effectively in a dynamic project environment and escalate risks appropriately
What We Look For
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field
2–3 years of experience in enterprise software testing or quality assurance
Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
Experience with manual testing concepts including test cases, scenarios, and defect life cycle
Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools
Basic understanding of databases with ability to write SQL select queries
Familiarity with web-based applications and system workflows
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Exposure to cloud technologies, DevOps practices, or Amazon Cloud automation is a plus

Hybrid role – working from our Bangalore office 3–4 days per week
