Inthisrole,asaSenorQAEngineeris responsible forensuring the quality and functionality of software through rigorous testing. They design and execute test plans,identifydefects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. QA Engineers work tomaintainsoftware performance, reliability, and user satisfaction. They also create automated tests to streamline the testing process. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential in this role.

• Responsible for creating theappropriate testdata andsetup the correct test conditions to execute test cases.

• Responsible for creatingtest plans, executing test cases, recording results,identifyingsystem orapplicationproblemsand writing clear,descriptiveand validtest reports

• Responsible for enhancing andmaintainingautomated test suites.

• Must be able to communicate clearly, interact with developers and business analysts to track and resolve defects.

• You are able to write automated testsuitesin PHP or Javathat will pass code review from a developer.

• You have asolid understandingof the software developmentlifecycle

• You have asolid understanding oftheSoftwareTesting LifeCycle.

• You have the ability to thoroughlyanalyseand understandrequirements

• You have the ability to createtest dataandexecute test casesthat exercise features in ways theirdevelopers probably never thought of.

• You can triage,identifyandtrackdefectsthrough toresolution

• You have solidSQLskillstovalidatefunctionality and diagnose issues.

• You haveAPItestingexperienceusing Postman or similar as well as automated tests

• You have solid troubleshooting and investigationskills.

Good to have

• Experience working at a Linux command line to check logs,deploymentsetc.

• Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket experience.

• Software development experience outside of individual automated test cases.
