Job Description

Wolters Kluwer is a global leader in information services and solutions for professionals in the finance, tax and accounting, risk and compliance, health and legal sectors. We help our customers make critical decisions every day by providing expert solutions that combine deep domain knowledge with specialized technology and services.

About the Role:

As a Software QA Analyst, you will play a key role in safeguarding and continuously improving the quality of the Kyte product. You will work closely with backend, frontend, and product peers to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle, define testing strategies, and raise the overall quality maturity of the team. This role combines hands‑on testing with ownership of QA practices and coaching the team towards shared responsibility for quality.

Kyte is a lightweight, user-friendly SaaS-based invoicing tool designed for freelancers, sole traders, and small businesses. It enables users to create and send professional e-invoices in seconds, fully compliant with digital invoicing regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the overall quality strategy for Kyte, ensuring quality is built in from design to production.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites (API, integration, and end‑to‑end) as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Perform exploratory and risk‑based testing to uncover edge cases and complex failure scenarios.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, product owners and engineers to define clear acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
  • Act as a quality coach within the team, promoting best practices such as shift‑left testing, testability, and prevention over detection.
  • Review requirements, designs, and implementations with a quality mindset, identifying risks early.
  • Analyze production issues and defects, driving root‑cause analysis and preventive improvements.
  • Continuously evolve QA processes, tools, and metrics to improve efficiency, coverage, and confidence in releases.

Skills:

  • Test automation: experience with automated testing (API, integration, end‑to‑end); familiarity with modern test frameworks and tooling.
  • Quality engineering mindset: Ability to think beyond test cases and focus on system behavior, risks, and failure modes.
  • CI/CD integration: Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Technical affinity: Comfortable working with APIs,
  • Agile experience: Proven experience working in Scrum or Kanban teams.
  • Openness to AIassisted testing: Willingness to leverage AI tools to improve test design, coverage, and efficiency.

Competencies:

  • Ownership of quality within a product team
  • Driving quality standards and continuous improvement
  • Coaching teams towards shared responsibility for quality
  • Clear and assertive communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Adaptability within evolving tech landscapes: Flexibility in learning new tools and methodologies keeps testing processes relevant in fast-paced development cycles.

What we offer

  • Impactful Work: You’ll be working on the core of our application, directly influencing how accountants manage financial data.
  • Technical Challenges: Build solutions that scale efficiently to handle millions of documents.
  • Collaborative Team: Work closely with product, support, and operations teams to deliver the best possible solutions with excellent user experience.
  • Small but Strong Team: We value close collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
