The Aeronautics Systems sector Research & Advanced Design (R&AD) is looking to grow Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) in support of designing and implementing technologies critical to the USAF Open Architecture initiatives. Our work influences the investment decisions of our senior leadership and customer program offices as well as impacting on the Air Force enterprise of acquisition programs.
Duties include deploying product updates, deploying software/containers in software factories, and building CI/CD pipelines. This role will have a large impact on team productivity and as such requires an understanding of the software development lifecycle and various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/CD pipelines).
The AI Software Developer will support software development for use across multi-domain/multi-platform scenarios using software engineering best practices and standards and participate in the full life cycle of software development, to include requirements development, modeling and design, application development, unit testing, integration, and formal system testing within a Kubernetes cluster environment.

Primary Level Salary Range: $77,200.00 - $115,800.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
