Job Responsibilities:
The Localization Engineer - I takes ownership of intermediate-level localization tasks and processes. They work independently on smaller projects while supporting senior engineers on more complex assignments, contributing significantly to the execution and quality of localized deliverables.
Tasks and Responsibilities not limited to:
Customer Delivery
• Plan and execute intermediate localization workflows, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Independently manage Translation Memory (TM) setup and optimize localization tools for efficiency.
• Develop basic scripts to automate routine localization tasks.
• Assist in designing and implementing new processes and improvements in collaboration with senior team members.
Quality Assurance
• Conduct thorough QA checks to ensure linguistic and functional accuracy of localized products.
• Monitor and report on localization quality metrics and suggest improvement measures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex technical localization issues.
Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members on localization tools and processes.
• Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for defined tasks.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure effective delivery of large-scale localization projects.
