Job Description

As a Cyber Security Engineer at Honeywell, you will support the development and implementation of cybersecurity solutions that protect Honeywell products, systems, and services. You will work closely with experienced security professionals, software developers, and system engineers to help identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks throughout the product development lifecycle.

In this role, you will participate in activities such as security reviews, threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and security testing. You will help ensure that cybersecurity requirements are incorporated into product designs and that security best practices are followed during development. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with secure development practices, security tools, and industry cybersecurity standards.

You will assist in investigating security issues, analyzing vulnerabilities, and supporting remediation efforts under the guidance of senior team members. You will also collaborate across teams to strengthen the overall security posture of Honeywell products and solutions while continuously developing your cybersecurity knowledge and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support cybersecurity assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis activities.
  • Assist in identifying and tracking security vulnerabilities and remediation actions.
  • Participate in security testing, vulnerability scanning, and validation activities.
  • Help implement and verify cybersecurity controls and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to promote secure development practices.
  • Support security incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
  • Learn and apply industry standards, cybersecurity frameworks, and company security policies.
  • Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security from an accredited institution
