We are seeking an expert R&D Engineer to join our Aprisa team. You will focus on developing and implementing AI-driven solutions to optimize Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) in semiconductor design tools and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
AI Algorithm Development: Design and develop machine learning models and algorithms to optimize PPA metrics in chip design
Tool Integration: Integrate AI/ML solutions into existing EDA tools and optimization frameworks
Research & Innovation: Conduct research on ground breaking AI techniques applicable to semiconductor design optimization
Performance Analysis: Evaluate and benchmark AI-enabled optimization solutions against traditional methods
Collaboration: Work with multi-functional teams including design engineers, software developers, and data scientists
Documentation: Maintain clear user documentation and contribute to research publications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
4-year proven experience in EDA, semiconductor design, or optimization
Solid understanding of PPA optimization concepts and challenges
Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar programming languages
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
Understanding of chip design flow and design automation tools
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI/ML in EDA or semiconductor industry
Knowledge of optimization algorithms and techniques
Familiarity with Siemens EDA tools or similar platforms
Published research or patents in related areas
Experience with large-scale data processing
