Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases (functional, regression, integration, security, performance).
Build and maintain test automation frameworks using Playwright.
Convert manual regression test cases into automated scripts to improve coverage and efficiency.
Perform mobile application testing (functional, usability, and compatibility across devices/platforms).
Validate accessibility (a11y) compliance based on standards (e.g., WCAG), ensuring inclusive user experiences.
Leverage AI tools and techniques to:
- Improve test creation and maintenance
- Enhance defect detection and analysis
- Optimize test coverage and efficiency
Identify and automate repeatable test scenarios as part of the CI/CD pipeline. Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements.
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and agile ceremonies.
Identify, track, and manage defects and risks effectively.
Promote best practices in QA, automation, mobile testing, and accessibility.
Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team culture through strong communication and knowledge sharing.
Academic degree in engineering, computer science or any other relevant discipline is a criteria to take on this role.

Strong experience in manual testing:
-Test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting
-Proven experience with Playwright automation
Hands-on experience converting:
-Manual test cases → automated test suites
-Experience in mobile app testing (iOS/Android platforms)
-Understanding of accessibility testing and standards (e.g., WCAG)
- Exposure to or experience using AI tools in engineering workflows
Experience with:
- JIRA and defect tracking tools
- Git (version control)
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven or similar)
- Browser debugging tools (Chrome DevTools)
Experience with TypeScript / JavaScript (for Playwright)
Familiarity with accessibility testing tools
Familiarity with using AI for testcase creation, testplan, analysis etc
Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams
Exposure to mobile test automation tools (optional)
