Position Title: Software Engineering Manager
Reports To: Head of Software Development
Location: Hybrid, Corporate Tamarac
Department/Sub-Department: Technology/Software Engineering
Salary: Starting at $120,000 DOE
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead two product engineering teams that support our ecommerce platform. This leader will be responsible for team execution, technical quality, delivery predictability, engineering practices, and talent development.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can operate at the intersection of people, product, architecture, and execution. You will partner closely with Product, UX, QA, Architecture, DevOps, Security, Data, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital commerce capabilities across web, mobile, and platform services.
The ideal candidate has experience leading teams that build with React Native, Node.js, APIs, cloud-native services, and modern ecommerce architectures They should also be comfortable helping teams adopt AI-assisted engineering practices, including responsible use of coding assistants to improve speed, quality, testing, documentation, and developer experience.
You will manage two product teams focused on ecommerce platform capabilities, including areas such as:

You will help create a stronger engineering culture, improve delivery predictability, reduce operational friction, and build platform capabilities that support CITY Furniture’s growth.
You will be expected to lead with ownership, raise the bar for execution, and help engineers grow while keeping the customer and business outcomes at the center of the work.
