Key Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership

Lead end-to-end delivery across mortgage, imaging, and lending platforms

Ensure on-time, high-quality execution aligned to business priorities

Drive Agile practices (sprint planning, backlog, release management)

Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and production stability

Platform Engineering, Imaging & Integration

Support development across:

Loan servicing systems supporting mortgage, consumer, and commercial loan products

Imaging, OCR, and document workflow platforms

Execute core capabilities:

Document ingestion, OCR, and intelligent document processing

Workflow automation and document lifecycle management

Integration with LOS and downstream systems

Drive:

API-led and event-driven integrations

Scalable, secure, cloud-enabled solutions

Improve efficiency through:

Automation and reduced manual processing

Faster turnaround times and higher data accuracy

Compliance & Risk

Ensure adherence to CFPB, TILA, ECOA, and Fair Lending standards

Support audits and regulatory reviews with onshore teams

Enforce secure coding, access controls, and audit readiness

Vendor Collaboration

Support vendor delivery, integrations, and SLA adherence

Partner with onshore leaders on vendor performance tracking

People Leadership (Core)

Lead offshore teams (hiring, performance, development)

Build a high-performing, accountable engineering culture

Drive engagement, retention, and skill growth

Stakeholder Partnership

Act as primary offshore delivery lead for India

Partner with onshore leaders, product, and architecture teams

Provide clear updates on progress, risks, and capacity

Qualifications

Basic

Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field

8+ years in technology delivery/engineering

3+ years leading offshore or distributed teams

Preferred

Experience in mortgage, lending, or financial services

Understanding of mortgage lifecycle (origination → servicing/default)

Experience with document imaging, OCR, or ECM platforms

Experience in global delivery (onshore–offshore model)

Technical

APIs and service-based architectures

Document processing and imaging platforms

Cloud (AWS/Azure)

Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD

Mainframe (Nice to Have)
