SOFTWARE ENGINEERING MANAGER

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading and direct a team of software engineers to ensure the successful execution of embedded software projects in EU for pneumatic solutions systems to meet milestones, quality expectations and budget objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams according to the given evaluation standards (ASPICE, ISO-standards, etc)
  • Develop global Software engineering teams to an engineering excellence level.
  • Support all global software engineering teams with platform related content and global the reuse of this content in their regional projects.
  • Plan, develop and maintain or adjust production ready Software and Controls to support the product technology roadmaps of pneumatic Applications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • MSc degree in Electronics Engineering or Software.
  • 10+ years’ experience with automotive electronics software and systems requirements, functional objectives and validation methods and tools.
  • 5+ years leading interdisciplinary engineering teams in terms of electronics and / or systems engineering.
  • Excellent technical project management skills, including planning and organization, decision-making, problem-solving, and project management.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in automotive software development, such as C
  • High level of English and German language skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • experience with AGILE-style product development
  • experience in using LIN and/or CAN for automotive OEM
  • successful production launch of ASPICE project
