Ideagen is seeking a Software Engineering Manager, responsible for supervising and managing a SaaS software engineering team to ensure smooth team operation and effective collaboration by creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
Leading and mentoring your team through the full software development lifecycle
Collaborating with Product, UX, Infrastructure, and Engineering leadership to deliver roadmap milestones
Driving Agile practices and continuous improvement across ceremonies and workflows
Overseeing defect resolution, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
Reporting progress and proactively managing delivery risks
Shaping technical decisions and contributing to engineering best practices.
Essential
10+ years in software development, including 5+ years with C#
Strong experience with C#, .NET, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML/CSS; React is a plus
Cloud-native development on Azure: app services, containers, microservices, APIs
DevOps experience with Azure DevOps, Octopus, Docker, Kubernetes
Solid understanding of Git, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows
Familiarity with cyber security principles and OWASP Top 10
Relational database experience, preferably Azure SQL
3+ years in Agile methodologies (Scrum, etc.)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
