We are seeking a highly experienced Software Engineering Lead with deep expertise in Mainframe technologies and a solid understanding of modern application development using Java, Python, and AI technologies. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, modernization, and support of mission-critical enterprise applications while driving engineering excellence, innovation, and digital transformation initiatives.

This role requires a solid technical leader who can bridge legacy mainframe systems with modern cloud-native and AI-enabled solutions, mentor engineering teams, collaborate across business stakeholders, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture, design, development, and support of enterprise-grade applications on Mainframe platforms
• Drive modernization initiatives by integrating Mainframe systems with modern technologies such as Java, Python, APIs, and cloud services
• Define engineering standards, coding practices, and development methodologies
• Review system designs, code quality, performance optimization, and security compliance
• Lead technical troubleshooting for complex production incidents and critical business applications

  • GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins
  • Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Cloud Platforms (Azure preferred)
