Job Description

This is more than a job. It's a chance to build, grow, and make a real impact! Join our team as our new Software Engineering Intern — AI Developer Tools! We're looking for an intern to help build and use AI-powered developer tools - think: tools that let an AI assistant look up a Jira ticket, understand a codebase, or answer "how does X work?" automatically.

Location: Axway Romania, Bucharest

Calea Serban Voda, no.133, 4th District

Employees work in a hybrid mode 2 days per week in the office

Responsibilities

• Using AI coding assistants (Copilot, Claude) in real workflows;
• Building small TypeScript/Node.js tools that connect AI to internal systems (Jira, GitHub, etc.);
• Writing tests and docs as you go;

Qualifications

• Comfortable with JavaScript or TypeScript;
• Can read and understand unfamiliar code;
• Curious about how AI tools actually work under the hood;

Bonus points: REST APIs, Jira/Confluence, or any LLM/AI tool experience;

No prior AI experience required — we'll teach you the stack. You just need to be curious and able to ship working code.
