Within Microsoft Fabric, the Platform team builds and operates the unified foundation that brings together all Fabric workloads into a single, cohesive experience. The platform provides shared infrastructure, governance, security, and a unified data model that enables customers to manage their entire data estate in one place. This team is central to delivering Fabric as a complete, end-to-end intelligence platform.
As a Software Engineer on the Fabric public APIs and embed team, you will play a key role in empowering the world’s leading enterprises to scale their data and AI capabilities on the Fabric ecosystem. You will design, build, and evolve Fabric’s public APIs, tools, experiences, and integrations, enabling customers to accelerate their automation and AI capabilities and improve the reliability and quality of their solutions.

Responsibilities
Sc./M.Sc degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
Strong design, coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding communication skills and collaboration capabilities.
Independent, with internal drive and self-motivation.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Independently uses appropriate artificial intelligence tools and practices across the software development lifecycle. Works with appropriate internal stakeholders to understand customer/user requirements for a set of features. Creates a clear test strategy that ensures solution quality, executes test plans, and builds testable code. Creates extensible and maintainable product feature code for minimal defects. Reviews product feature code to ensure it contains the correct test coverage and follows team standards. Implements debugging tools, tests, logs, and telemetry to verify assumptions. Strives for automation within production deployment aiming for zero-touch when possible. Applies and reviews coding patterns, security risks, and compliance issues in code reviews. Applies security best practices to achieve security hardening across product features.
