
Software Engineering & Development (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Quincy, Massachusetts): Will work in a dynamic, fast-paced Agile team environment, working closely with business and IT staff across business units and geographies. Specific duties include: driving technical excellence by working independently to analyze, design and develop large and complex software enhancements and solutions; designing and developing Data Services / APIs / Cloud based solutions for Alternatives; ensuring alignment with Digital Experience strategy and product roadmap; leading Agile development team to develop value added services for Alternatives; working closely with the Product Owner and others on requirements analysis, scrum planning, and execution; supporting production systems to ensure business continuity and continuous improvement of applications supported; providing expert level troubleshooting on large, mission critical client/project implementations; working in a dynamic, fast-paced, Agile team environment; adhering to SDLC processes; leading, motivating, coaching and developing people and teams; and leverage solid interpersonal skills and team-work attitude to drive collaborative initiatives. Up to 10 % travel within Boston Metro. Hybrid remote telecommuting permitted pursuant to company policy.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 10 years of experience developing enterprise scale applications and data processing solutions. Alternatively, will accept, master’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 7 years of experience in developing enterprise scale applications and data processing solutions.
Must have: demonstrated experience with multi-platform, multi database and/or multi language; hands-on experience with SQL development with Oracle, MS-SQL Server; hands-on experience with RESTful Services & multi-threaded programming; experience with designing and delivering solutions on Azure or other cloud platforms; experience with event driven architecture, Micro-services, and Serverless development patterns; experience leading agile delivery & adhering to SDLC processes; solid understanding of financial domain; strong hands on experience with core Java, multi-threaded programming and Java Software development frameworks like Spring boot and Hibernate; strong hands on experience with RESTful API development with exposure to Google Apigee platform including good understanding of Open API specification; strong hands on experience in SQL development with Oracle, MS-SQL Server, Sybase; demonstrated solid understanding of one or more of the following CSPs (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform etc.) and the respective technology stack; strong hands on experience in ETL tools/services, SSIS, SSRS and Azure data factory; exposure to messaging services like MQ and Kafka; experience working with any observability tools chains; demonstrated strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment; and a proven ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments. Salary Range:
$178,131 - $230,000 Annual
