Do you want to help define the future of delivering Apple software to customers? Join the Insights & Release Technologies team to develop productivity products and release technologies focused on optimizing engineering workflows, so that we can deliver amazing software and experiences to millions of Apple users faster. Our team has a passion for innovation and engineering and is looking for individuals with a genuine excitement to collaborate with others to solve sophisticated problems with a focus on the user experience.

We are looking for a passionate, product-minded engineer at the start of their career, someone who cares deeply about user experience, architectural excellence, and writing code that is as beautiful as the products it powers. In this role, you will have a profound impact on software engineering productivity by helping design and build the next generation of productivity applications used by Apple engineers. As a member of the team, you will contribute to technical discussions, learn from experienced engineers, and grow features from concept to launch.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to workflow orchestration frameworks such as Temporal.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, networking, or security.
Experience with databases (relational and NoSQL databases like Cassandra)
Experience with app development (macOS and iOS)
Experience with server side development and systems programming
Interest in growing into technical leadership of larger features and collaborating across organisational boundaries.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency in at least one server-side language (Swift, Go, or equivalent).
Foundational knowledge of problem solving, software architecture, debugging, and testing.
User-focused: passion for quality, attention to detail, and delivering outstanding user experiences.
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across multiple locations and time zones.
